Lottie was hot. It was summer, it was sunny, it hadn't rained for months, and the sky was wobbly. Lottie didn't know what it meant when the sky was wobbly, and there was nobody to ask. The ice lolly she got from Mrs Kelcroft didn't help, and her shirt was now stained a bit pink from the dribbling lolly lipstick. Her mum had gone out to get more satin for a dress. Victoria-Next-Door had come back from the hairdressers with an awful pefumey smell that made Lottie's head ache. Not only was she hot, but she was bored out of her mind and very very fed up. Until she felt something dripping onto her head. She thought it was a leaky drainpipe. She looked up to see her friend Cassie standing on the roof holding...a bucket? "Surprise!" SPLOSH! "AIEEEE!"
