I'm not sure if I made this clear, so I'll do it now. The deadline on these things is optional. If you want to do it, but haven't got the time, don't worry about it. Post it in July. Or August. Or January. The "monthly" theme is just so I know when to come up with another one.
Also, if this challenge has a nice turnout (the other two have been pretty good, too), I'll assume that this idea of a monthly writing challenge won't wither and die. ;D So after this month, I'll happily take suggestions on what themes or requirements of future challenges should be. Just send them to me in a pm, and you'll get the credit when I post whatever challenge they're in.
Alrighty, so, June!
Requirements It's summer, which means the weather's nice and warm and perfect for hanging out outside. Therefore, this challenge needs to take place outside. Characters and Length: No specifics. In fact, I'm just gonna drop this section in future challenges, since I don't think I'll ever make any specifics. Other: You must include a greedy squirrel, a boy pony picking flowers, and the line, "Uh, you're standing in poison ivy."
(a hundred or so plot bunnies, all golden with red eyes, pop up, give evil looks, and hop off) I'M GONNA CATCH EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO!!!!! I'm in! just let me try to catch these rabbits! My response is nearly finished for the last challenge. I had to put it on hold to deal with my novel.
I'm gonna be out for most of the month, so there won't be a writing challenge for July. Feel free to post your challenge responses later than usual--you always ARE, of course, but........yeah, whatever. XD
I'll be posting my challenge response when I get back later this month. Happy writing, everyone! ^_^
